What Does A Rash On The Chest While Suffering From Fever Indicate?

Rash on chest and back, fatigue, and joint myalgias with fever for one week. Rash started yesterday, other symptoms listed are present on and off for a week. Rash is confluent, generalized over the chest and back that is popular, without exudates, and itches. Joint pain without redness or swelling in bilateral shoulders, elbows, and knees. WBC: 9.7 with increased lymphocytes, negative bands and increased eosinophil count.

You are having fever, myalgia and rashes over body...

Your high lymphocytes count suggest toward viral infections....

Symptomatic management needed for that...

For rashes antihistaminic drug can be prescribed

If needed calamine lotion can be applied...

For high eosinophila AEC is calculated, if high than fexofenedine like antiallergic drug needed..

If needed CRP and blood culture might needed

Take care

Consult physician for examination and further work up accordingly
