Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a rash developing on my foot. I originally thought it was a blister from new sandals, but it is on the top of my second toe. So I covered it with moleskin to prevent rubbing. It hurt more, so I used a new moleskin that would not adhere to the sore spot. The spot has become three. Should I have a doctor look at it, or wait a while?
It might be due to rubbing because of new sandals. Please send a photo to me to get further evaluation and specific treatment.
For the moment, I can only suggest to: - soak the feet in warm water and cider vinegar and a bit of baking soda - dry well - apply triple antibiotic ointment, - apply aloe vera and zinc oxide during the day
If still no improvement, should see your dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
