What Does A Rash Under The Arms And Back Of The Neck Indicate?

My grandson has a rash under his arms and on the back of his neck. He is complaining of body aches and my son said his face is puffy or swollen. They took him to a walk in clinic and was diagnosed with ear infection and strep throat. The doctor ordered amoxicillin. Does this sound like a correct diagnoses?

Hello,

Yes, in strep infection rash may be present.

Continue with tab. amoxicillin as advised. Do saline water or betadine gargles. Take steam inhalation.

Along with that for rash, you can apply calamine lotion. For itching you can tab. loratidine.
