What Does A Red And Scaly Rash On Shin Indicate?

Hi, I ve had a 1inch diameter red, scaly, itchy rash-like spot on my shin for months now. I have tried cortisone creams (prescription strength), Lamisil, regular creams, Vaseline. There is no oozing or bleeding. It doesn t change ever--it doesn t get better or worse. Any thoughts :) Thanks!

thanks for your querry.
Well looking at your symptoms,it looks like dermatitis,however,examination would be necessary to understand what dermatitis it is.Better to consult a dermatologist,since you are using cortisone,would suggest continue till your appointment aS WELL AS TAKE ANTIHISTAMINE like avil.
