What Does A Red And Sore Skin Flap On Inside Of Cheek Suggest?

Hello, I have a skin flap on the inside of my cheek located just infront of my top wisdom tooth on the left side. It is red and sore and I can almost lift it with my tongue. I m not 100% sure but I think it may be because I left a strepsil lozenge in the side of my mouth for to long. I first noticed it when I moved the lozenge away from the area (I had forgotten it was there while watching TV). It s been sore for about a day now and I m nervous is could be something more serious. Should I be worried?

As per your complain a red and sore skin flap that is present over the cheek on the inner side can be a torn skin due to cheek bite or can be a gum flap that lies over wisdom tooth or can be a Fibrous tissue Overgrowth known as a Fibroma..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical examination will help in confirming the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can apply a numbing gel over the flap to relieve pain..
Avoid cheek bite..
Take a soft diet and do warm saline gargles..
