What Does A Red Bruise On The Penis Indicate?

Hi there, I have a redish bruise on the right of my penis head. Last time something similar happened was last year when I was a bit rough with playing with myself. It appeared about 3 days ago but been having sex with the same partner for over 4months. There were moments where she would sit on my penis and enter while dry which caused pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to trauma during dry intercourse but needs to be evaluated by a urologist. You should also get coagulation profile done as well as blood counts specially platelets count and function to rule out any bleeding tendency or any cause of easy bruisability. STD screen may be asked though less likely with your history.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
