What Does A Red Indentation On The Penis Indicate?

So, I ve been masturbating very regularly since me and my girlfriend started dirty talking to each other and sending nudes (About 2-3 times in a day) and over the last day or so, and red indent has appeared on my penis frenulum. It now hurts immensely to the extent I would call the pain aggonising to simply pull back the doeskin even a little, and it hurts even more if something touches my frenulum (E.g. Underwear) Will this heal on its own, or should I be worried? I m fine with waiting and not masturbating if I have to, I just want to know whether or not I should actively seek help for this

Hello and welcome to 'Ask me Doctor' service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Two possibilities are there -

aggressive masturbation might have caused injury to frenulum
or
improper hygiene might have caused infection.

in both scenario you have to consult surgeon or dermatologist respectively.

till then for pain relief you can take ibuprofen 8 hourly.
