What Does A Red Lump In The Groin Area Indicate?
My husband has a red,very tender lump in his outer groin-didn't have to remove underwear to show it to me. He asked me to look at it on Sat, 12/10, but i put it off 'til today. It is deep-he thinks it will come to a head, but I think it's more serious than a boil. I did not express my concern since he's getting ready to retire in May. Does he need to have his doctor look at it?

As a physician I would like to tell you that, boils or folliculitis are quite common in groin area. You should take Tab Augmentin 625, Tab Enzolflam-D and Cap Omez. I would also like to tell you that you should visit your consulting physician as soon as possible if the swelling does not go away after 10 days of treatment.
