What Does A Red Lump On The Head Indicate?
My daughter has a 3cm in diameter hard reddish purple bump on her head. I noticed it one day when she was about 5 wks old.... NoW it s doubled in size. Doctors have done ultrasound and have seen a pediatric dermatologist they don t think it s a hemangioma or a dermoid cyst, but it s hard and painless.. , one ultrasound noticed it has a little bit of a blood flow... They want her to get an MRI but not for a month. I m scared what could it be

It could be a hemangioma.
Consult a plastic surgeon and get evaluated.
If possible, better to remove it surgically.
