What Does A Red Rash On The Breasts Indicate?

For about five weeks, I have had a red rash underneath and on top of my breasts, and extending down a little onto my stomach area. I have large breasts, so I am accustomed to some heat rash and discomfort at times, but this is more and very painful. Also, I have begun to itch (without a rash) on my scalp, arms, and legs and have no rhyme or reason. I have tried zinc oxide, calamine lotion, neosporin, Gold Bond itch creme, and Monistat chafing cream - no relief. I have changed nothing in my daily habits or eating habits!!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be eczema.

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
