What Does A Red Rash On The Skin Indicate?

I have a small patch of skin that is a dark-ish red color. It doesn t itch and it s not in pain however it does feel smoother and more sensitive then the skin around it. For a long time I thought it was just a print from my pants being to tight but after about a year of having it I don t believe this to be the case.

By your history and description, possibility of either large mole or cutaneous hemangioma is more.
So better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of that lesion.
It is better to do excision of such lesions as they can turn into skin cancer in later part of life.
