Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red rash on the upper thigh which can occur due to many reasons like fungal infection, allergic reaction due to detergent, soap, bacterial infection of hair follicles, heat rash and contact dermatitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take benadryl twice a day as of now and apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product. Wear loose clothes and try cotton bottoms as it will avoid friction. Avoid touching or picking rash. Maintain complete hygiene. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine , corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline short.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
