What Does A Red Spot On The Breast Indicate?

Hello I have about a pea size pinkish red spot on my lower breast. It doesn t itch or hurt. I also have a saline implant in that breast. They are treating it as fungus with Nystatin but after a week I see no change. Since I first noticed it, it has been there for almost a month. I m worried about IBC should I be concerned? There are no other changes in my breast.

Hi,

It could be related to your initial fungal infection. You can have it scraped and microscopically examined to be sure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
