What Does A Shadow In Vision Indicate?

I am experiencing a shadow in my left eye, in the shape of a half moon, inside bottom right . I had experienced a badly ripped retina at age 48 (2011). I have made an appointment to see my retina specialist for tomorrow, should I be concerned something could happen over night?

it appearrs tobe scotoma. may be related toold injury. get checked by retina specialist. nothing will happen over night. you can ge all check next day morning.
