What Does A Skin Growth Near Anus Indicate?

I have a large formation near my anus. It started a week ago and I ve been treating this like hemorroids, as I remember from pregnancy and post. Over the past 6 days they have turned into it and it s about the size of 1/2 a gummy worm. I m wondering if this could be an ingrown hair? I did shave a few days before this showed up.

From your description it sounds more like a hemorrhoid. Ingrown hair will be itchy or painful. Gummy worm description suggests hemorrhoid.
