What Does A Skin Tag In The Groin Area Indicate?

I’ve had a small skin tag for years at the crease of my groin. Just recently it has grown to what looks like a fluid filled sac that could pop at any minute. It doesn’t hurt or bother me in any way other than it’s there. Is this something that I need to get checked out?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Skin tags are harmless condition and easily removed. You can tie a thin thread around its base and keep it for few days. It will get dislodged by itself. If it’s persist it can be easily excused by a general practitioner.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
