Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms are suggestive of cervical disc disease. You may need cervical x-rays and MRI scans to confirm the cause. Meanwhile, you may try using analgesics like ibuprofen along with topical analgesic creams. You need to avoid extensive posturing of neck and sudden movement around neck to prevent further injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vaddadi Suresh
