What Does A Small Bump On The Penile Shaft Indicate?

About 6 months ago I got a small bump on the shaft of my penis. At the time my doctor told me it was molluscum contagiosum and that it will go away on it s own. It hasn t, and I have more about twenty where most of my pubic hair grows. I ve tried tree oil, it seems to help and also keeping them dry seems to make them scab and go away.however they keep coming back, and they get puss filled when I get in te shower. Any help would be appreciated.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to molluscum contagiosum.

It is is a skin infection caused by the virus Molluscum contagiosum.

I recommend using topical creams such as prescription creams and gels containing retinoids such as tretinoin (Atralin).

I also recommend you to continue using tea tree oil.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
