What Does A Small Lump On Front Of The Knee Indicate?

I have a small lump on front of knee it started lookin like ant bite and iched i poped it a little yellow puss came out not very much at all.now just clear liquid comes out and its not really painful.probly nothin but what most likly would case that i have had stuuf like that befor but they were zits ..
