What Does A Small Lump Under The Armpit Suggest?

I have this squeshy small lump in my armpit that I just noticed and moves when I touch it. It s tender to touch too. The lump links to a brown spot on my skin surface. What is this and do I need to see a doctor? If not, could I treat it at home and how? Or should I leave it alone and let it go over time?
