What Does A Small Pelvic Mass In Groin Area Indicate?

I have a small pelvic mass. Dull, ongoing pain in groin region. Mostly wear the trunk of the legs meet the groin. Feel a little uncomfortable when I walk. Overall fullness feeling in the pelvic area. The mass is not tender. It feels like a dime size soft lump. Went to urgent care. He said possible a infection and gave me antibiotics. Any other ideas of what it could be?

A lump in the groin region could be a manifestation of inguinal hernia.Inguinal hernia may be diagnosed if the lump becomes more prominent on coughing or increasing abdominal pressure. Inguinal hernia generally produces dull dragging pain on movement. It is not an emergency but you must consult your general surgeon at the earliest as if untreated the hernia can produce complications like strangulation. Regards
