What Does A Small Red Dot On The Head Of The Penis Indicate?

My boyfriend has a small red dot on the head of his penis. He hasn t said that it burns or hurts or is itchy. It s painless. It s not herpes, don t think its any std. He was a Virgin with me, and I got checked before doing things with him. What is this red dot?
