What Does A Sore At The Tail Bone Indicate?

Dr. I have an open sore at the bottom of my Spine (tail bone) Where when I was a lot younger -in my early 20 s (now 76) I had a pineal cist removed; I had a rhuematologist (sp) look at it and who advised me to have it examined, by my family Doctor. Could this be a recurrance of the Cist ? and if it is what are the dangers, ? Thanks in advance; Bud YYYY@YYYY YYYY
