What Does A Swollen Lump Under The Right Breast?

Hi, I had a slight swollen lump under my right breast and began to spread to my right nipple. It also became flat, soft and was very, very warm like it had a fever along with sharp pains in the upper part of my middle back. A couple days ago, I had red, itchy, burning inflamed streaks across from my right hand side of my shoulder, almost reaching my breast, along with pain that comes and goes from my right lymph nod of my armpit, to my shoulders, my shoulder blades and to the side glands of my neck along with the back of my neck. Lump was hard and swollen when I put peroxide on it with a safety pin and a sewing needle poked in the swollen area under my right breast closed to my right armpit. What are these symptoms? I m afraid for my life.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The presentation of narrated symptoms suggest that there is presence of an acute inflammatory response in form of lump below the right breast is most likely from bacterial infection.

Poking with a needle is quite dangerous, which will provoke further infection in it, and it is highly recommended to consult your surgeon at earliest before it flares up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
