Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Swollen Lymph Nodes can be either reactive due to infection or may be neoplastic. Simple fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) procedure is needed to rule out malignant etiology.

As neoplasms are common in the elderly, they have to be ruled out. My suggestion is to please general physician and have FNAC or biopsy done from the swollen lymph nodes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Siddartha
