What Does A Swollen Vein Below He Rib Cage Indicate?
I have a swollen vein on the right below my ribcage. It is sore to touch. I first thought I must have bruised a rib, but no bruising and now this vein is protruding. Its been about two weeks since it started. I am 3 years out from triple negative breast cancer and chemo with radiation. Should I call my oncologist? I have a follow up appointment on Friday.

A prominent Blood vessel in this area could be in case of an Infection, or Fracture. In your case if there is no pain and no Fracture its not propably the problem. According to your Anamnesis a check by your oncologist is certainly recommended. As you have the follow up appointment on Friday you don't have to call immediately your oncologist. Some new Imaging would be meaningful.
