What Does A Tiny Black Spot On Inner Eye Lid Indicate?

My son has a tiny black spot on his right inner lower eyelid that is resistant to being removed, even with a Q-tip moistened with Systane moisturizing drops. We will try flushing it out this evening, but were wondering if you had any suggestions. Any input you have would be appreciated.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your son is having a black spot on the inner portion of the lower eyelid.
This can be pigmentation of the conjunctiva in the form of conjunctival melanosis.
This will not cause any problem, hence no need to worry. However if it increases in size it needs to be removed.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and advice accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
