What Does A Triple Layer Endometrium Mean?

I have irregular periods pcos and my last mensus date was may 31st i had heavy periods doctor said i have thickened endometrium and gave "MEDRIGEST" for 20 days but after that i had spotting on 23rd june later 29th,30th,1st july and even on 5th july too.Mine is a 30days cyle so visited doctor on 4th july she said triple layer endometrium and asked me to wait for 1 month.what is this triple layer mean?and my home pregnency test was negative?can i have contact with my DH?Am i pregnent or not?
