What Does A Urinalysis Showing Presence Of Pus Cells, Yeast Cells And Epithelial Cells In A 38-year-old With Symptoms Of Frequent Urination Indicate?
In my urine routine test , appearance is slight turbid, pus cells are 2-3, epithelial cells are 5-7 hpf, and yeast cells are present, there is frequent urination, and slight pain in left side internally and my age is 38 years. Pls tell me the causes , effect and remedies.
Your pus cells and epithelial cells are within the limit. The presence of yeast bud suggestive of fungal infection. But it can be contamination of urine by the fungus as well during collection.
So I suggest you repeat urine routine microscopic examination and urine culture.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
