What Does A White Area On The Mole Suggest?

I have a mole that I have had for as long as I can remember. It hasn t changed in size or shape...I keep a close eye on it. However today as I went to shower noticed it had a white area on it...it was like a pimple with whiteheads in 2 spots and the one was already open I squeezed it a little and white discharge came out...it smelled bad. Is this a really bad sign or just something to get checked out?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that there is a mild collection of discharge within the mole. This may not necessarily indicate that there are any serious problems.

This can sometimes occur.
Cleaning the area with antiseptic solution or cleanser may help.

If it recurs or worsens then you can be assessed by your doctor. Oral antibiotics may then be needed.

I hope this helps
