What Does A White Spot In The Inner Cheek Indicate?

My wife is 47 years old. She has a raw spot on the inside of her mouth, on her cheek. She has had it for a couple of months. There looks like some white spots. She says in the morning, it looks like white heads, but, right now, it just looks like it is a white spot. She has an acoustic neuroma, that has effected that same side of her head. Any ideas

Usually white spot in the mouth does not indicate any thing but if there are number of sports and they are increasing in number or size then they are needed to be checked, sometime a mouth cancer can start like this but usually a single sport not growing doesnt indicate anything
