What Does A White Spot On The Hand After Application On Betnovate Indicate?
Hi I am 22 years old male. Few months back my doctor gave me betnovate cream to treat brown patches on my hands and neck however I didnt used it too much before but recently I’ve been using it daily. However that brown patch on my neck disappeared completly and there is no issue with it but on my hand brown patch disappeared but it left a big white spot on that area. Is it because of too much usage or cream expired ?
our skin is home for many organism betnovate is a steroid cream and when you use it on your skin it can leave white spots this is because betnovate reduces immunity as it’s a steroid which make the skin more vulnerable to fungal infection
you can take tab fluconazole 200 mg only once and keep your hands dry and clean and stop using the cream the spots should go
feel free to ask any questions
Regards Dr Raza Ali
