What Does Abdominal Cramp On The Left Side Indicate?

I m having sharp abdominal cramping on my left side above my hip bone. It s tender to the touch. No fever. Not debilitating pain. But localized and there . I m 72. Female. Excellent health and weight. No medications. Although I just finished Keflavik for a UTI.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are not having much pain or other symptoms, possibility of muscular cramp is more likely.
So avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Avoid movements causing pain.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas of groin.
Drink plenty of fluids orally.
Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
If not improving after 2-3 days then consult doctor and get done ultrasound abdomen.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
