Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. As you have undergone
ultrasonography, but still pain persist [despite negative findings], consult a Gynecologist as it could be simple dysmenorrhea [
menstrual cramps during periods] to any underlying pathologies like
endometriosis, uterine fibroids or
pelvic inflammatory disease [PID]
2. If after pelvic examination the doctor suspects an underlying condition, she may order further investigations like MRI, CT,
hysteroscopy, laparoscopy since surgery may be needed to remove the abnormal tissue [if any].
3. Till you get an appointment, some nonpharmacological methods like
- soaking in a hot bath, applying heat to lower abdomen, and dilatation of cervix [vaginal delivery] is the best cure and make sure to exercise regularly, stay away from stress, take fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid caffeine, salt, sugar, alcohol, fat
PS. If this option does not work, talk to your doctor, since more invasive therapy or further investigations may be needed.
