What Does Abdominal Pain On The Right Side Indicate?

So for the past couple days I ve been having some mild pain on the right side of my abdomen. Sometimes it s in my ribs, sometimes it s in my lower abdomen, sometimes it s sharp and doesn t last long, sometimes it s dull and lasts awhile. I don t have any other symptoms. I started an antibiotic for strep throat Monday night, so I m not sure if it s a side effect.

antibiotic wont cause such type of pain.it can be due to muscle spasm if superficial or due to indigestion or cholelithiasis or liver enlargement or pleural effusion.as you are saying mild and its not cramping may be its due to local muscle spasm
