What Does Abnormal Behaviour In An Elderly Man Indicate?

My father-in-law has been acting unusual. He continuously opens every light in the house and acts as if he is reaching for something. Then he goes in his room for about 2 minutes he comes out of his room and turns a light off and it is a continuous motion. He doesn t want to eat and we don t know if he is taking his medication or taking too much. He does out of his room naked sometimes. He does not want to go to the doctors
