What Does Abnormal Heads Mean In The Semen Analysis Test?

I got Recently Semen Test.. My Report Analysis is.
Volume:- 1.1 ml Ph 09 Appearance whitish
Sprem Count 56 Million Liq. Time 20 min

Mottility Active Sluggish Dead
After 30 min 60% 20% 20%

Morphology
Abnormal Heads 10% Abnormal Necks 03% Abnormal Tails 07%

Pus Cells 2-3/HPF RBCs NIL/HPF

Thanks for writing to HCM

Abnormal head means sperms with abnormal morphology.Normally at least 16 % sperms should have normal morphology for successful fertilization.
You have sufficient number of sperm with normal morphology,so you shouldn't be worried.

But your semen analysis report suggests infection .
Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

Other factors like count and motility are within normal limit.
