What Does Abnormality In Front Right Of Head In MRI Mean?
Hello, my Dad has been receiving Chemo for Lymphoma for the past 6 months as he had a tumour near his sinus. He has been told that it has now shrunk considerably but his recent MRI scan showed something on the front right of head. He is still waiting for the results as they have sent them to another hospital as they say they are unsure what it is. He has no problems with movement or speech at all. They had asked if he'd ever had a knock to the head or a stroke, but he hasn't. I am so worried that it's brain cancer and what this would mean in terms of treatment and survival?? He also had prostrate cancer just over a year ago but had his prostrate removed. Thank you

1.The history suggest presence of the sinus mass lesion and been on chemo and radiation - possibility could be growth of the mass.
2.If doctor has asked about the stroke history means there could be involvement of any vessels.
3.Probably there is intracranial involvement - and occluding some vessels.
4.There might be signs of stroke in the brain - that might be chronic which patent not experienced.
5.Sinec he had to cancers known , possibilities of metastasis could be considered.
6.I have only given possible causes - do not take any thing serious - wait for report. Hope the best. Good luck.
