Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Absence of growth of fetus during pregnancy indicates miscarriage. Such pregnancy needs to be aborted. As your doctor suggested, it could have been caused due to unhealthy sperms. You can try and improve sperm health by supplementation of medications containing Carnitine, Lipoic acid, Lecithin, Selenium, Zinc, and Vitamin E, which would provide essential nutrients for the sperms. After a month of its intake, kindly get your semen analysis done. Consult Infertility specialist with the report for evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran.S.
