What Does Absence Of Periods After Taking Depo Shots Indicate?

I ve been on depo for about a year. I was suppose to get my shot in June but I canceled it due to the weight gain. I had a full 7day period the month of July. August came around no sign of period. In it is now September I also took two in home pregnancy test but they were negative.

After taking depot medroxy progesterone injection, ovulation might take some time to resume. So periods will take some time to regularised. So don't worry about that. But you have to use other method of contraception if you are not planning for child.
