Urine report shows Volume - 20 ml Color - pale yellow Appearance - S. turbid Reaction - acidic Ph – 6.5 Specific gravity - 1.005
Chemical examination – albumin trace Sugar nil Ketone nil Blood nil Bile pigment negative<brBile salt negative Urobillinogen –Microscopic examination – pus cell loaded with hpf Epithelial cells – 2-3 / hpf Rbc 8-10/hpf Crystals – nil Cast nil Micro organism nil Others – bacteria present Doctor suggest injections, actually what is the problem with my father he is 70 years old

Hello

Your father's findings suggests urinary tract infection(UTI).
UTI is indicated by slightly turbid appearance of urine and presence of excessive pus cells,RBC,bacteria in urine.

He need clinical correlation and investigations like routine hemogram,renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen.
Trace amount of albumin is normally seen in urine.

Nitrite test and Leukocyte esterase test can be done for confirmation of UTI.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.
Injectable antibiotics are also prescribed for UTI.
He should drink plenty of fluids.
