What Does Active Motile Sperms Of 35% In Semen Analysis Suggest?
hello, My name is Usman, Un married,Age is 26, here is my sperm Analysis report Volume 3.0ml, Coulor , gray white, PH.7.7. Total sperm count 85million/ml, active motile 35%, sluggish motile 10% non Motile 55% pus cells 5-7 cytology 55%.
hello usman . the report suggests that your sperm count is fine , and Ph and morphology fine too however the sperm motility is reduced , it should have been 50 % atleast , and one possible cause may be the presence of some infection of internal structures that produce and store semen , that is indicated by presence of pus cells - so a sperm culture test can be done and upon confirmation of infection , it can be treated with antibiotics which will hopefully improve the motility - you can consult any good urologist / reproductive endocrinologist for that . meanwhile drink lot of water , ensure good night sleep , moderate exercise 30 mins daily - eat fresh fruits green leafy vegetables , walnuts ....and avoid smoking , alcohol and caffeine . Take care
