What Does An EKG Referral Of Frequent PACs With Possible Anteroseptal Infarct For A Tachycardia Patient Mean ?

I am a 40 yr old female, 5 5 , 145 lbs. Tachycardia , (on Metoprolol 25 mg, 2x daily), just received EKG referral. Referral states: EKG shows frequent PACs with possible anteroseptal infarct . Also states to expedite referral due to diagnosis. I m kinda anxious...can someone please explain what all this means, and what I m to do while waiting for my appt? Thank you :) Lori K.

Hi,Lori,thanks for query.You must not wait for appointment.As per the report of ekg you are having premature beats and one of wall of your heart is not getting blood means heart attack.You need go to emergency if this is the case.do not waste time,go now.bye.
