What Does An Abnormal Venous Doppler Ultrasound Report Indicate?
My legs ache so bad. They did bloodwork and said I was vitamin D deficient I am on 6000 I use every day . They also did a vein study and found nothing in my veins are good. I am 56 years old in good health I am on my feet all day Because of my job .
Yes, vitamin D deficiency can cause leg pains. The other reason may be your job. Long time standing may cause leg pains. The good point is that your veins are normal.
Just continue with your vitamin D, and also take calcium, use soft boots, and try to avoid persistent standing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
