What Does An Altered Sense Of Smell Indicate?

No stuffy nose at all. But strange , ammonia like smell in my nose off and on for months. No one else smells it. Very strong sometimes to the point of overwhelming. No bad breath. Smelled it one time soon as I bent over ... I’ve had no other sinus issues , no runny nose, no congestion, no sneezing, no cough ... I’m confused

welcome to hcm .as you have no abnormal symptom related to nose etc
if you had no history of recent head or nose injury or brain or nose surgery
then only possibility left is epilepsy
please see a neurologist ..he will ascess you
