HI,IM 57 YRS OLD FEMALE FOR THE LAST 4WKS IVE GOT A VERY STRONG ACID SMELL WHEN I GO TO THE BATHROOM.MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY 15 YRS AGO FROM BREAST CANCER AND MY SISTER IS A RN,SHE STARTED CRYING WHEN I TOLD HER TODAY,SHE SAID THATS WHAT OUR MOTHERS SMELLED LIKE.ITS NOT FISHY I DONT BURN OR ITCH,ITS ACLOUDY YELLOW,IM WITH THE SAME MAN SO IM NOT CONCERNED THERE.IM AVERY CLEAN WOMAN,WHAT DO I NEED TO DO

Hello,

I think this has nothing to do with breast cancer. I think you should be tested for diabetes, fasting glucose levels, and HbA1c if needed. Ketoacidosis gives an acidic smell. Also, urine analysis is needed to test for bacteria a protein and glucose in urine to see kidney function.
