Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
My thoughts and suggestions are as below. Ill-defined means it is not circumscribed, has no definite edge or cover and this goes in favor of a carcinoma unless proved otherwise. Your ENT Surgeon will excised this polypoidal mass and send it for histopathology to know the exact diagnosis so that further management if any can be done to have possible cure. If this turns out to be benign, nothing to worry about. If caner is present then the treatment will be as per the stage of the disease.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
