What Does An Infected Mole Beside The Nose Indicate?

Hi, so I have this benign mole beside my nose that I had gotten recently and is big in size. It had a dark spot when I went to see my doctor but has grown larger since then. It’s very squishy and I think it’s filled with pus. Any idea what if it could be cancerous?

Hello,

If you observe more:

1. Incresed pigmentation
2. Incrrsed size
3. Assosiated itching
4. Assosiated pain
5. Any lymphadenopathy

Then, please consult your doctor immediately because there are signs may be benign form converting into malignancy.

If it is infected, take antibiotics and if symptoms not improved, please consult your dermatologist she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
