What Does An Intracranial Mass Close To The Ear Indicate?

I ,m having surgery next Friday for Intracranial mass close to ear I have no symptons found this when my dog.I tripped me and fell I feel like not having surgery afraid. Had a Mri yesterday i m 66 years old and very healthy. Is this considered a tumor?

A tumor is a growth, it can be benign (not cancerous or dangerous) or malignant (dangerous).

This means that the growth can be called a tumor but this does not mean that it is cancerous or dangerous.
It would be best for it to be removed so that it can be sent to the lab for testing to determine its exact nature.
