What Does An Itchy Rash On The Lower Abdomen And Back Indicate?

I have developed a very itchy rash on my lower stomach, arms and lower back. It looks like raised bumps. I m taking amoxicillin prescribed by my doctor. I ve never had a reaction to any type of medication before. What should I do and how can I stop the itching until I can get to the doctor.

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to hives. I suggest you use antihistamines.

I also suggest you use Calamine lotion for local relief.

I recommend to stop using Amoxicillin and consult your doctor for an alternative medication.
